Biographical sketch
Emma Goulard Coderc de Lacam was born in Paris in 1996 in Paris. After obtaining a bachelor degree in biology at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI) in 2018 , she entered the In Silico Drug Design master at Paris Diderot University (Paris VII ), in which she did an Erasmus semester in Milan. She realised her master thesis at Ecole Polytechnique under the supervision of Thomas Simonson and Thomas Gaillard on the following topic: “Methods for CPD: Dynamics and sequence redesign of a proline-rich antimicrobial peptide bound to the Ribosome”. She is currently a PhD student under the direction of Chris Chipot in Nancy and working on finding collectives variables and free-energy perturbation simulations to assess the molecular basis of the specificity of protein protein interactions during synaptogenesis.
